RIZEX LABS LLP (“RizeX Labs”, “we”, “us”) is the data fiduciary responsible for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).
It applies to rizexlabs.com, our learning platforms at app.gradxacademy.in and portal.rizexlabs.com, our WhatsApp and email communications, and our classroom and online training delivery.
1. Personal data we collect
Data you give us
- Enquiry and enrolment data — full name, email address, phone number, city, educational background, work experience, current role, and career goals
- Identity and billing data — billing name and address, and GSTIN where you request a GST invoice
- Placement data — resume, LinkedIn and Naukri profile details, employment history, expected and current salary, notice period, and interview feedback
- Communications — emails, WhatsApp messages, support tickets, and feedback forms you send us
- Testimonials and media — your photograph, video, name, and employer, where you voluntarily provide a testimonial or success story
Data generated when you learn with us
- Account and login records on app.gradxacademy.in and portal.rizexlabs.com
- Attendance, session participation, assignment submissions, project work, assessment scores, and progress tracking
- Recordings of live sessions in which your voice, video, or chat messages may be captured
Technical data collected automatically
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type and version, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent, referral source, and click behaviour
- Cookie and tag identifiers
Payment details: Card numbers, UPI IDs, and net-banking credentials are entered directly on our payment gateway’s secure page. We never see or store them. We receive only the transaction ID, amount, timestamp, payment method type, and success or failure status.
2. Why we process your data
- Responding to enquiries and counselling calls — your consent
- Processing enrolment, payments, and invoices — performance of our contract with you, and legal obligation for tax records
- Delivering training, tracking attendance and progress, issuing certificates — performance of our contract with you
- Placement assistance, including sharing your profile with prospective employers — your consent
- Sending course updates, schedules, and service notifications — performance of our contract with you
- Marketing emails, WhatsApp broadcasts, and event invitations — your consent, withdrawable at any time
- Website analytics and improving our services — your consent via cookie settings
- Publishing testimonials and success stories — your separate, specific consent
- Preventing fraud, misuse, and piracy of course material — our legitimate use and legal obligation
- Responding to legal or regulatory requests — legal obligation
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
3. Cookies and tracking
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, and we may use advertising pixels to measure campaign performance and show relevant ads. These technologies set cookies on your device.
- Essential cookies keep the site and your login session working. They cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies help us see which pages and courses attract interest.
- Marketing cookies measure ad performance and support remarketing.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown on your first visit, change your choice at any time through that banner, and block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only with the recipients below, and only to the extent needed:
- Payment gateways — Razorpay, PayGlocal, Easebuzz: name, email, phone, and amount, to process payments and refunds
- Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Workspace, Drive): technical and usage data, course files, and correspondence
- Video conferencing providers: name, email, and session recordings, to deliver live classes
- WhatsApp Business / Meta: name and phone number, to send batch updates and support messages
- Email and CRM tools: contact details and enquiry history, to manage communication
- Cloud hosting and storage providers: platform data and video content, to host our learning platforms
- Prospective employers and hiring partners: resume and profile details, only with your consent, as part of placement assistance
- Professional advisers, auditors, and authorities: only where required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim
Our learning platforms at app.gradxacademy.in and portal.rizexlabs.com are owned and operated by RIZEX LABS LLP. Data held on them is not shared with any separate entity. Each processor is bound to use your data only for the purpose we specify.
5. Transfers outside India
Some of the service providers listed above store or process data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we transfer data only to countries not restricted by the Government of India under the DPDP Act, and we require contractual safeguards from the provider. By using our services you acknowledge that your data may be processed outside India for these purposes.
6. How long we keep your data
- Enquiry data where you do not enrol: 24 months from last contact
- Learner account, attendance, and assessment records: duration of enrolment plus 3 years
- Certificate issuance records: 7 years, to allow verification requests
- Invoices, payment, and tax records: 8 years, as required under Indian tax law
- Resume and placement data: 24 months after program completion, or until you withdraw consent
- Session recordings: in line with your course access period under our Terms
- Marketing contact data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
- Website analytics data: up to 26 months
We delete or anonymise data once the applicable period ends, unless we are required to retain it by law or for an ongoing dispute.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and the processing we carry out
- Correct inaccurate data and complete data that is incomplete
- Erase your personal data where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity
- Complain to our Grievance Officer, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response
To exercise any right, email connect@rizexlabs.com from your registered email address, stating what you want and, where relevant, your batch name. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act.
8. Withdrawing consent
- Marketing emails — click the unsubscribe link in any email
- WhatsApp updates — reply STOP, or ask us to remove you
- Placement profile sharing — email us and we will stop sharing your resume with employers
- Testimonials — email us and we will remove your testimonial from our website and social channels within a reasonable period
- Cookies — use the consent banner or your browser settings
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out, and does not affect data we must retain for legal or contractual reasons. Withdrawing consent that is essential to delivering your program may mean we can no longer provide that program.
9. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls on learner records, restricted admin access to our platforms, encrypted connections (HTTPS) across our website and platforms, and vendor selection with security in mind.
No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your platform password confidential and for not sharing your login. If you believe your account has been compromised, tell us immediately.
10. Data breach notification
If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected individual, in the manner and within the timelines prescribed under the DPDP Act and its rules. Our notification will describe the nature of the breach, its likely consequences, and the steps we are taking.
11. Age restriction
Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. You confirm at enrolment that you are at least 18. If we become aware that we hold data of a person under 18, we will delete it and cancel the associated enrolment. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact our Grievance Officer.
12. Third-party websites
Our website and course material link to external resources such as Salesforce Trailhead, ServiceNow documentation, GitHub, and YouTube. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies separately.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, tools, or legal obligations change. The revised version applies from the date it is posted, and the “last updated” date above will change. Where a change materially affects how we use your data, we will notify you by email and, where required, seek fresh consent.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 working days. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
